The Energy Resources Club is sponsoring a weekly study group session open to all Energy Resource Management and Development (formerly Energy Resource Science) students. The sessions are held each Wednesday starting on September 5 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm in the College of Agriculture Room 41.
The Rocky Mountain chapter of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (RM-URISA) is sponsoring a financial award for students using GIS in their studies. Any undergraduate or graduate student attending school in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah or Wyoming is eligible to apply.

Wyoming Public Media broadcast a piece on Wyoming coal last week. It discuss a research project conducted by Dr. KJ Reddy at the Jim Bridger power plant in Rock Springs and the clean coal technology research program administered by the School of Energy Resources.

SER Meet and Greet, scheduled for August 29, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled in September.

The Outdoor Program provides a wide range of outdoor activities and programs for a variety of skill levels. You have the opportunity to develop lifetime recreational skills, meet new people, and have a great time!
The Intramural Sports Program offers University of Wyoming students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of individual, dual, and team sports at various levels of competition. Intramural Sports strives to provide structured and organized programs that promote teamwork and mutual respect, while assisting in the fulfillment of such basic needs as relaxation, socialization, achievement, and physical wellness. It is the goal of the Intramural Sports Program to provide the University of Wyoming community members the opportunity to participate in a sport of their choice in a fun, friendly, and safe environment.

Club Sports provides competitive sport opportunities to University of Wyoming students. The level of competition is above that of intramurals yet below that of intercollegiate athletics. Club teams compete against schools from the Rocky Mountain region along with universities across the country.
The Department of Music sponsors several music ensembles open to all University of Wyoming students.
The Laramie/UW Civic Chorus is open to all UW faculty, staff, students and members of the Laramie community. This is a non-auditioned ensemble.
The Vocal Jazz Ensemble consists of 12-16 singers and is open to all university students by audition.
